Role Overview
IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) is an essential component of our IT organization, providing support to our Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, and Marketing organizations. Our goal is to radically simplify compliance and risk management, by taking a user-centric approach leveraging automation and self-service. As a Tester supporting the development team, you will be responsible for helping ensure the quality of the solutions we are building leveraging our ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, helping ensure our business requirements are met and delivering value to the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, hands-on experience with ServiceNow and familiarity with test automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on ServiceNow applications
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans based on business requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand application functionality and resolve issues
- Participate in test planning and strategy meetings.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues to the team
- Stay current with latest ServiceNow updates and test methodologies to recommend and drive process improvements
What we need
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform functionality and core modules (e.g., ITSM).
- Proficiency in developing, managing and executing test cases
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development processes
Preferred Experience and skills
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management module
- Pharma background or experience in an other highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience using AutomatePro for ServiceNow
- Using Jira to manage development and testing activities
