Job Description
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, the Franchise Lead (FL) will be responsible for oversight and leadership of the Oncology Franchise activity which includes marketing and sales, with collaboration in the area of pricing & market access, policy, as well as building professional relations with customers.
The FL will drive Oncology Franchise organizational and go-to-market readiness and actively engage local organization and beyond. The role holder will be in charge of driving the franchise business, evolving the “Go to Market” model of the Oncology franchise reflecting long-term aspiration, navigating through complexities, enabling networks in order to simplify, as well as to ensure commercial excellence and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders (like: Policy, Market Access, Medical, etc.) as well with customers to enable future growth and expansion of the Oncology franchise.
Key responsibilities:
Build-out and market planning to ensure that Oncology franchise commercial/marketing strategy, tactics and infrastructure are in place to successfully achieve new launches, operational plans and critical milestones
Work closely with local pricing and market access colleagues to appropriately communicate value, drive access and support patient care. The FL has full people management and P&L accountability
The FL is responsible for identifying brand growth opportunities, setting portfolio priorities and securing appropriate business plans within the country
Oversees the designs, development and the implementation of marketing programs in the country for respective Brand / Portfolio consistent with global and local strategies via specific marketing strategies and media
Prepares for launch excellence and ensures launch readiness in the country. He/she will at the same time ensure support and focus on driving and optimizing existing business
The FL will engage with top customers across the country with the objective to improve the patients’ health outcomes
Manage the Field Force promoting the Franchise.
Perform
Execution by assuming responsibility for the P&L within a multifunctional organization and achieving annual budget targets in a highly strategic and competitive therapeutic area
Achieve targets and secure strong financial performance and successfully deliver on operational commitments including top line revenue growth, market share improvement and increased profits
Develops in collaboration with the cross functional team the Brand Plan for the country and follows up execution based on specific KPIs
Develops sales and expenses forecasting and follows up implementation of approved action plan
Develops relevant promotional and non-promotional material and programs, customizes global and regional materials to be appropriate to local market
Integrates MCM activities, customer solutions projects, communication plans and other customer related activities and ensures accomplishment of strategic objectives
Collaborates with support functions to conduct market research/analysis
Conducts frequent field visits to liaise with SLs and other physicians, gaining deeper market understanding and customer insights.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Key Competencies Required:
Healthcare education, Medical Doctor or Pharmacists is a plus
Minimum: 5 years’ experience within Pharma, preferable experience in the field of Oncology and launching new products
Ability to manage key external stakeholders, to influence without authority, and to create and carry out action plans in matrix cross-functional team structures
Commercial product launch experience and life cycle management
Exhibit strong leadership, problem solving, project planning, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
Team effectiveness skills, listening and integrating diverse perspectives from across the work group
Knowledge of Financial management (e.g., brand budget, sales forecasts, etc.) to be able to support local Brand team
Business acumen (e.g., knowledgeable in policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting our Company business)
Ability to prioritize objectives and make difficult resource allocation decisions
Influencing/persuasive skills (e.g., ability to put together strong business cases)
Digitally literate - quick to understand, has practical experience
