Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead the strategic marketing planning and execution for the PCV portfolio, ensuring strong brand positioning, effective communication, and successful new product launches. This role will drive market growth, optimize product lifecycle management, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful marketing and key account strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Marketing Planning & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement PCV short- and long-term strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze market research and competitive intelligence to define product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and market share.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including new indications, new product launch
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Communication & Promotional Management

  • Lead the development of advertising, promotional, and communication materials across multiple channels: HCC, HCP & HCO
  • Conduct training sessions for field force teams on product knowledge, objection handling, and promotional tools.
  • Establish and maintain a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support scientific engagement and brand advocacy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.

New Launch Preparation

  • Plan and manage all aspects of PCV product launches, including pre-launch activities, launch events, and post-launch evaluations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (regulatory, medical, supply chain) to ensure readiness and resource availability.
  • Drive market readiness through stakeholder engagement, educational initiatives, and access strategies.

Market Intelligence & Research

  • Lead the implementation of market intelligence strategies to gather and analyze competitive and customer insights.
  • Direct the execution of market research projects to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable marketing and sales strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation

  • Build and maintain relationships with key prescribers, hospitals, and medical societies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conventions, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field force, regulatory, and medical teams to secure formulary listings and market access.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably in vaccines or specialty care.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, brand management, and product launches.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
