PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for assembly and test of Neuspera Medical’s Implantable system and Accessories.Additional responsibilities include incoming and in process inspection as required.
JOB DUTIES
- Assembly of miniature implantable assemblies and devices
- Complete quality Records including LHR’s, Test Reports, etc.
- Perform inspections using an automated Micro-Vu measurement system
- Perform in-process and final inspection of in-house manufactured product per established SOP requirements, traveler instructions, and/or documents referenced in the traveler
- Operate inspection and test equipment (e.g. optical measurement system, micrometer, caliper, pin gages, microscope, tensile tester, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to follow work instructions and complete assembly and test records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) / Quality System Regulations (QSIT)
- Able to maintain training records and follow relevant Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma, equivalent certification, or equivalent work experience
- At least 7 years of experience in FDA/CE regulated medical device industry inspecting/testing components, fabricated parts, subassemblies, product assemblies, and finished devices
- Skilled at some of the following assembly processes:
- Assembly of miniature components under microscope
- Ultrasonic cleaning
- Soldering
- Laser, resistance and ultrasonic welding
- Adhesive/epoxy applications
- Electrical test
- Leak test
- Tensile test
- Packaging
- Labeling
COMPENSATION
Based on market data and other factors, the hourly salary range for this position is $30 - $35. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
