SR IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR – EARLENS CORPORATION, MENLO PARK, CA. Technical expert and project lead across design, planning, implementation, and support of maintaining IT infrastructure in a multi-site enterprise. Duties include: design, install, and configure hardware and software based on ITIL methodologies and security standards; maintain IT Configuration Database; perform daily system monitoring; perform regular security monitoring to identify security violations; perform daily backup operations; manage end user accounts, access rights, and permissions; ensure data integrity and security at-rest and in-motion within IT enterprise and cloud systems; investigate and troubleshoot hardware or software issues and failures; and, manage OS/application patches and upgrades.

Reqs. Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in the field. Experience must include: System Administration across Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Layer 2/3 network switches, WiFi Controller and Access Points, and Firewalls; TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Site-to-Site and Client-to-Site VPNs, and VoIP/QoS; project planning and project management; designing and managing networks; Windows Server 2019; Hyper-V 2019; Linux RHEL v7; and, Ubuntu v20.
