The Country Lead is responsible for guiding our Ecuadorian organization and its business towards its growth potential.
This position requires solid understanding of the local market dynamics, and it requires strategic thinking to assess and develop plans related to various opportunities that are in-line with overall cluster and regional strategies. The job incumbent is responsible to co create the business strategy in close collaboration with Business units Directors in the cluster.
This role will have direct commercial and key account management responsibility through country sales in both private and public segments, as well as full P&L responsibility. It is also responsible for the Access, Policy, and Communications Strategy.
Additionally, this role is responsible for identifying, planning, and executing on various functions related to wholesalers’ relationships, business development, and other strategic enablers to drive the business forward.
This role is expected to have the legal representation and spokesperson for external stakeholders (AMCHAM, IFI, CIP, Camara de Quito, Health Minister, Industry Minister, Labor Minister, Education Minister, among others)
The CL will partner with various internal stakeholders (Finance, Commercial Operations, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Compliance, and Human Resources ) to plan for and execute strategic initiatives.
The position is also expected to build talent & high performing teams, effectively developing future leaders with demonstrated ability to retain key talents, to energize and to inspire others to higher levels of effort and performance
