Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist in Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of our organization through comprehensive analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. This is a sole contributor role, requiring the individual to work independently while possessing a collaborative mindset to engage with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Actuals Reporting: Prepare and present actual financial results to the Regional and Leadership Team, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the business and Finance Director in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, aligning them with the financial goals and objectives of the organization.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to support their strategic goals, providing financial insights and guidance to enhance decision-making processes.
- Project Participation: Engage in various projects aimed at supporting the organization in achieving its objectives, bringing financial expertise and analytical skills to the table.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- 7+ Years Finance Experience, with the majority of the last few years in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial reports.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong business acumen.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, BPC and PowerBI
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Collaborative mindset to engage effectively with various stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Not afraid to challenge the status quo and suggest innovative solutions.
