Job Description

Are you an expert in immunotherapy and targeted therapies in oncology? Do you have experience with lung cancer, genitourinary cancers, or other solid tumors?

Do you want to make a difference for patients and physicians by interpreting data, discussing science with scientific leaders and collaborating closely with colleagues in launching new products and indications – while unleashing your own full potential?

Then you could be our new Medical Advisor within Oncology within our solid tumor indications in Denmark.

You will develop medical strategies and execute tactics to demonstrate the value of our medicines.

Patients are at the center of all what we do.

You are our scientific ambassador to the medical community

As our new Medical Advisor in Oncology, you will expand our network among national scientific leaders and medical professionals across Denmark. Your role involves engaging in scientific exchange to connect research with clinical practice, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and access.

You will foster long-term relationships with the local healthcare community, serving as the key medical and scientific knowledge hub. You will take ownership of the medical affairs agenda, focusing on critical scientific and medical issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead medical advisory efforts in one or more solid tumor areas, collaborating closely with medical affairs colleagues.

  • Facilitate scientific exchange to identify and address unmet medical needs.

  • Contribute insights to shape business strategies and tactics.

  • Generate Real World Evidence to explore data gaps.

  • Present findings to key stakeholders, including oncologists and pathologists.

  • Attend and contribute to international conferences.

  • Organize and execute scientific events.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable SOPs, rules, and regulations.

You understand science – and people

You possess a strong scientific background in oncology, biology, or immunology. While prior experience in medical affairs as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor or equivalent is valuable, it is not mandatory.

A PhD is required, and an MD degree is a significant advantage.

Your focus on patient and stakeholder needs is essential for success in this industry. You combine scientific expertise with business acumen, translating insights into a clear direction when forming business strategies internally. Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders are crucial, as is your goal-oriented mindset and commitment to our company’s high ethical standards.

You are adaptable in a rapidly changing environment, demonstrating impressive interpersonal skills. You can work independently with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player. Open-minded yet assertive, you effectively communicate your expertise to colleagues and external stakeholders and uphold our ethical standards.

You exhibit the following qualities:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Excellent command of Danish and English

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

Approximately 10-15 % of your time will be spent travelling.

You will join our highly ambitious, skilled and collaborative Medical Affairs oncology team in Denmark with currently 5 medical advisors covering indications within various tumor types and immunotherapeutic and tissue targeting agents. We focus on actions driven by science and strategy while having fun at the same time.

The Danish Medial Affairs team belongs to a Nordic Cluster where you will have numerous opportunities for your professional development through Nordic and Regional projects and workstreams.
