【部署について】

生産本部 IT & Automationチームは、医薬品製造に関わる製造ラインおよびラボ検査機器向けシステムの導入、製造ライン/ラボ機器の自動化の推進、ならびに自動化システムの保守・運用をサポートしています。

今回募集の職種では、以下の業務を担当していただきます。

【業務概要】

Automation System Associate SpecialistまたはAutomation System Specialistとして、生産本部 IT&Automation Senior Specialistの監督の下、製造ライン/ラボ機器/付帯業務の自動化の分野で技術的サポートを提供します。また、問題の調査、解決策の発見と実行を行うと共に、GMP、安全性、環境規制に準拠した自動化システムの開発計画および変更管理を遂行します。

【主な責任】

•製造ライン/ラボ機器の自動化に関する技術的知識やアドバイスを製造部/品質管理部に提供し、製造ライン/ラボ機器の自動化に貢献します。

•自動化システムのバックアップ、リタイア、変更管理などをサポートし、自動化システムが検証済みの状態を維持できるようにします。また、変更が品質基準に従って計画通りに実施・完了できるようにサポートします。

•自動化システムにトラブルが発生した場合は、関係部署ならびにSenior Specialistと協力して問題の解決を実行します。

•製造ライン/ラボ機器の自動化に関するテスト計画書を作成し、作成した文書が必要な基準を満たしていることを確認します。

•自動化システムに関するSOP、補助資料、および作業指示書の作成を行います。

•自動化システムならびに生産活動に付随する業務の継続的な改善活動をサポートし、Senior Specialistと協力して改善を実行します。

•製造ライン/ラボ機器/付帯業務の自動化に関する小規模プロジェクトの取りまとめと遂行を行います。

•その他、マネージャーによって割り当てられたその他の職務の遂行。

資格:

コンピュータサイエンス、情報工学、電気・電子工学、機械工学などの学士号

経験:

<必須>

製薬業界または製造業界での2〜3年以上の技術的経験

ビジネスレベルのコミュニケーションスキル。

ビジネスレベルの日本語。(ビジネスレベルの英語スキルがあれば尚可)

<推奨>

IT、機械自動化、エンジニアリングに関する知識と経験。

製造ライン自動化に関する問題解決の経験。

製造現場でのデジタルソリューション実装経験。

分析ツールの使用、およびデータ分析ツールに関する知識。

<リーダーシップ、専門的および機能的能力>

We are looking for Automation Engineers for Manufacturing Lines, Laboratory Equipment, and Ancillary Operations!

You can acquire the experiences, knowledges, and leadership skills to promote the automation of pharmaceutical production lines at the world's top-level global sales foreign-affiliated pharmaceutical company and the only domestic manufacturing plant.

The Menuma Plant is located in Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, in a quiet area surrounded by greenery. With approximately 350 employees, we work together to manufacture medicines every day under the vision of “Everything for patients.”

The position we are recruiting for this time is an engineer who promotes the automation of the production line at the plant. It is a job where you can feel that you are contributing to the health of patients and society at large by promoting the automation of the drug manufacturing line.

<Department>

Our manufacturing devision IT & Automation team promotes automation systems for manufacturing lines and lab equipment related to pharmaceutical manufacturing, and supports the maintenance and operation of automation systems.

In the position we are currently recruiting for, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

<Job purpose>

As an Automation System Associate Specialist or Automation System Specialist, you will provide technical support in the field of automation for manufacturing lines, laboratory equipment, and ancillary operations under the supervision of the manufacturing devision IT & Automation Senior Specialist. Additionally, you will investigate issues, identify and implement solutions, and execute development planning and change management for automation systems in compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

<Main Responsibilities>

  • Provide technical knowledge and advice regarding the automation of manufacturing lines and laboratory equipment to the Manufacturing department and Quality Control department, contributing to the automation of these systems.
  • Support backup, retirement, and change management of automation systems to ensure that they maintain a validated state. Additionally, assist in ensuring that changes are implemented and completed according to the quality standards.
  • In the event of issues with automation systems, collaborate with relevant departments and the Senior Specialist to execute problem resolution.
  • Develop test plans related to the automation of manufacturing lines and laboratory equipment, ensuring that the created documents meet the necessary standards.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and work instructions related to automation systems.
  • Support continuous improvement activities for automation systems and associated production activities, collaborating with the Senior Specialist to implement improvements.
  • Oversee and execute small-scale projects related to the automation of manufacturing lines, laboratory equipment, and ancillary operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualification:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

<Must>

  • At least 2 to 3 years of technical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or manufacturing industries.
  • Business-level communication skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese. (Proficiency in business-level English is a plus.)

<Preferred>

  • Knowledge and experience in IT, mechanical automation, and engineering.
  • Experience in problem-solving related to manufacturing line automation.
  • Experience in implementing digital solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and knowledge of data analysis tools.
