We are seeking for motivated colleagues for our Pharmacovigilance department. Working as part of a high performing and collaborative group, this position plays a key role at the Company to accomplish tasks for local Pharmacovigilance department prioritizing patient safety.
Job Description:
The PV Specialist reports to the PV Lead Türkiye and is responsible for PV activities (as delegated/assigned by their manager) which may include but are not limited to:
PV Intake activities (including conducting reconciliation and follow-up),
Individual case safety report (ICSR) and aggregate submissions,
supporting audits and inspections and related readiness activities,
authoring local SOPs, local training, escalation of safety issues, and archiving and is able to perform these tasks with minimal supervision.
The PV Specialist may undertake other additional activities including projects with oversight by their manager. The PV Specialist must reside in the operating country, Türkiye and his/her native/second language must be Turkish.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
The incumbent must have a physician/pharmacist degree or equivalent by education / experience and be fluent in English (written and spoken) while proficient in local language.
He/she must have a general knowledge of PV regulations within his/her assigned country and be an expert in PV processes/activities.
The PV Specialist is expected to have strong communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize assignments using sense of urgency and can work independently with minimal supervision.
The PV Specialist is expected to have good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint..etc.) processing skills, ability to learn new computer interface systems and be familiar with the use of a safety database.
The PV Specialist must have strong project management, organizational & planning skills with a high level of accuracy & quality in work keeping detail orientation and compliance mindset/focused.
