We have an amazing opportunity for an entrepreneurial technical leader who will thrive in this ecosystem. The GenAI Technical Lead role will drive the delivery and integration of GenAI and automation capabilities within the company's Finance function. The ideal candidate will envision and lead the efforts to realize the value potential through the lens of strategic innovation, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity. This role will have significant interaction with our IT and business partners, suppliers, and various technology providers and the ideal candidate is a results-driven individual that can envision and bring to life impactful solutions.

What will you do?

  • Lead efforts to design, build, and maintain GenAI solutions encapsulating the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct innovation proof of concepts and pilots to identify and onboard pertinent solutions following company policies and in partnership with other stakeholders in the organization.
  • Apply risk-based decision making to complex problems and consult with relevant subject matter advisors as needed to inform the decision.
  • Identify and promote reuse of modular components and frameworks to reduce implementation time and costs.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for all technical matters within the product line.
  • Partner with Product Line leader, Product Manager(s) and other stakeholders in understanding, prioritizing, planning and implementing technical solutions that deliver desired business value.
  • Coordinate execution for successful delivery across various teams and vendor partners to meet product objectives with high quality, timeliness, and within budget / estimates while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Contribute to developing accurate and realistic plans, resource estimates, and timelines in alignment with prioritized business requirements.
  • Define and enforce development standards, best practices and review processes to ensure consistency of delivery quality and reusability of solution components.
  • Operate with integrity and ensure adherence with organization policies, quality assurance and data protection processes.
  • Exhibit a passion for technology innovations that drive business value and foster a growth-mindset with a keen desire learn new technologies and trends.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of work experience with at least 3+ years of experience leading engineering of AI/ML, RPA, or complex custom software solutions or products in an enterprise setting
  • Hands-on experience in deploying scalable solutions in AWS / Microsoft cloud environments
  • Demonstrable understanding of machine learning, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering
  • Demonstrable understanding and ability to articulate architecture, technology, and software engineering best practices in AI/ML, RPA, and/or GenAI
  • Proven ability to lead development teams and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a global & matrixed environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders and team members

Nice to have

  • Successful enterprise-scale product / solution development experience in GenAI and/or Agentic AI
  • Prior experience developing highly scaled full-stack product(s) / solution(s) involving one or more components such as front-end, API, microservices, container services
  • Prior experience in unstructured data handling and familiarity with techniques for unstructured data ingestion, content extraction, annotations etc
  • Demonstrable understanding of Agentic AI concepts, architecture patterns and technologies
  • Advanced certifications in architecture, cloud engineering, AI/ML, and/or GenAI, preferably in AWS or Microsoft
  • Ability to articulate decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders with varying technical and functional acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and accomplish goals in team settings
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, committees, or task forces with the ability to collaborate with and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
