Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting the growth and success of our Vaccines Portfolio and HIV in the Baltic region. The position reports to the Vaccines Business Unit Director and is 80% field based.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the needs of our customers are met.
Your responsibilities will include identifying customer needs, translating them to internal teams, and
optimizing revenue generation. Additionally, you will be responsible for mapping decision processes, building relationships with key decision makers, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes.
As a Key Account Manager, it is crucial to have a deep understanding of your customers, stakeholders, and the overall decision making process within the account. Your expertise will enable you to support brand profitable access, bridging the gap between science and clinical practice to improve patient outcomes. By engaging in scientific exchange and knowledge sharing activities, you will contribute to addressing the unmet medical needs of patients while establishing a strong and trusting relationship between our company and the local healthcare community.
Your ultimate goal as a Key Account Manager will be to create value for Our Company and our key
customers. This will involve partnering with interdisciplinary teams and implementing strategic business agreements to ensure a unified and customer-centric approach.

Primary activities and Key Responsibilities


As a Key Account Manager, your role involves gaining a deep understanding of the market, competitors' strategies, and trends. You analyze the needs of key accounts and stakeholders and identify operational processes affecting patient outcomes.
You develop comprehensive account plans for key accounts, capturing short- and long-term
opportunities. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you create effective strategies to drive
business growth and build our reputation as a trusted healthcare partner.
Once the plans are established, you implement and track them, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. You negotiate strategic collaborations, manage resources, and lead a cross-functional team for successful execution. Monitoring key performance indicators allows for adjustments when needed.
Through coordination with relevant stakeholders, you align departments and facilitate productive
meetings for information sharing and necessary adjustments.

Education, Background & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business (Sales/Marketing) or a relevant field (e.g., medicine,
  • manufacturing, research, or healthcare).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the health industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of customer/business strategy.
  • Understanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systems.
  • Fluency in both Local Language and English languages is required.
  • Strategic Thinking: Utilize your strategic mindset to analyze market dynamics and competitors' strategies, and develop effective plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic Business Management: Apply your expertise in managing key accounts, understanding customer and market insights, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and create value.
  • Sales Acumen: Utilize your sales skills to effectively engage with customers, segment and target accounts, and manage the market to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Negotiating: Employ your negotiation skills to establish mutually beneficial collaborations and strategic partnerships with key account stakeholders. By leveraging these competencies, you will contribute to the overall success of our Vaccine portfolio and help improve patient outcomes while driving business growth
