Regional Sales Manager - North Region (QLD + NT)
- Permanent, full-time role with competitive remuneration and benefits, including tool of trade

- Lead a high-impact sales team in Sydney’s North Region (QLD + NT) to exceed targets and drive growth
- Drive expansion of the Companion Animal Business Unit with key veterinary accounts
- Use data and insights to deliver focused, strategic sales execution
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture through coaching
- Oversee daily team operations, ensuring compliance and safety

The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager, North Region is to lead and develop a designated regional sales team to achieve identified business outcomes, and sales performance. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting strategies developed at a national business unit level that promote growth within the Companion Animal Business Unit with nominated key customers.
What You Will Do
Sales Team Leadership
- Drive team performance to meet business priorities (QLD + NT territories)
- Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback
- Manage territory planning and marketing campaigns
- Define and review team account and geographic responsibilities
- Collaborate with national teams to track sales metrics and ensure best practices
- Foster a sales-driven culture with ongoing training and coaching
- Develop team skills to optimise territory management and customer targeting
- Mentor team members and manage daily operations including expenses and leave
- Promote safe driving and vehicle management
Account Management
- Lead servicing of key Veterinary Wholesale accounts and buying groups
- Conduct business reviews and develop strategic plans with sales, marketing, and technical teams
- Engage key account influencers to deliver outcomes
- Prioritise accounts and strategies with National Sales & Key Accounts Lead
- Use sales and market data to drive profitable customer strategies
Sales & Financial Performance
- Meet sales budgets, market share, and team metrics
- Ensure compliance with rebate, discount, and pricing policies
- Maximise profits from new business opportunities
- Implement customer trading terms promptly
Market & Competitor Insights
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
- Provide strategic recommendations to grow market share

What You Must Have
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Life Science and/or Business preferred)
- Extensive customer-facing sales experience, ideally in Animal Health
- Proven success managing sales teams and delivering on KPIs and budgets
- Strong business acumen with budget management and financial expertise
- Solid experience in related markets or industries
- Demonstrated sales management and/or marketing skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong leadership, time management, goal setting, and budgeting skills
- Advanced negotiation, influencing, leadership, and staff motivation capabilities
- Strategic thinker with medium to long-term focus
- Skilled in data analysis and logical problem solving
- Comfortable leading and collaborating remotely
- Well-organised and responsive to customer needs
