Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Act as a hands-on compliance partner to assigned business units, ensuring adherence to the company's compliance standards and governance locally.
  • Execute, monitor, and document key compliance activities with a focus on operational excellence, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address compliance risks and process gaps to maintain high standards.
  • Facilitate compliance training, communications, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze and report compliance data to support risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain local compliance documentation to ensure readiness for regulatory inspections.
  • Support workflow simplification and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and collaborating across teams to enhance operational efficiency without compromising compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Training and Communication

  • Support the delivery of compliance training programs, including refresher sessions and SOP updates, within assigned business units.
  • Assist in coordinating compliance training logistics, tracking attendance, and ensuring effective rollout and completion of training activities.
  • Provide first-line compliance guidance and consultation to business stakeholders to reinforce training messages and address routine policy and procedure inquiries.
  • Support the cascading of compliance messages and awareness campaigns to promote a strong compliance culture locally.

Implementation of Key Processes and Systems

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with speaker meeting processes and third-party/HCP payments per company policies.
  • Maintain and update local SOPs aligned with global standards and regulations.
  • Manage local compliance systems and tools (e.g., E-Contracting, FMV Tool, PCS tracking) to ensure accurate and timely use.
  • Identify and communicate workflow simplification opportunities, collaborating with ABPM, BPOL, and support functions to implement improvements.
  • Integrate incremental enhancements into daily compliance operations to boost efficiency and reduce complexity.

Tracking, Monitoring, and Reporting

  • Conduct regular process checks, audits, and data accuracy reviews to identify gaps and ensure compliance integrity.
  • Support the preparation and documentation of reports for the Country Compliance Committee (CCC) and other governance forums.
  • Track compliance metrics and follow up on corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

Business Support and Operational Excellence

  • Review and monitor compliance aspects of sponsorships, events, promotional materials, and other business activities to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide compliance guidance and support to business teams involved in these activities, facilitating timely approvals and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth execution of compliance processes and timely resolution of issues.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and recommend improvements to enhance compliance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support and contribute to workflow simplification efforts as part of operational excellence, ensuring compliance processes are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree from Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field, MBA degree is a plus

Experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or business process improvement.
  • Demonstrated success working in and supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in compliance governance, policy development, or training is preferred.
