Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and develop strategies for data-driven solutions
Utilize the Dataiku or Databricks platform to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines
Support and mentor other data scientists in effectively using the Dataiku/Databricks platform and implementing best practices
Work closely with stakeholders to identify key business problems and opportunities, and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions
Conduct exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to uncover insights and build predictive models
Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations, presentations, and reports
Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop content showcasing the value and impact of data-driven solutions powered by Dataiku/Databricks
Actively participate in knowledge sharing activities, including conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance the data science capabilities within the organization
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and the Dataiku/Databricks platform, and share insights with the team
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to data scientists and users of the Dataiku/Databricks platform
Skills/Knowledge Required
Minimum of 2 of relevant delivery of complex analytical projects (industrialized, validated)
Proven experience as a data scientist, analyst, or in a similar role
Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using programming languages such as Python or R
Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques, with experience in applying them to procurement or supply chain datasets
Familiarity with data science platforms like Dataiku or Databricks
Familiarity with working with generative AI models and apply them to real use cases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ability communicate with larger audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
