Role Overview:
Part of the EIT TCOE Test Management Office, the TMO Lead plays a vital role in ensuring quality assurance for the testing lifecycle during implementations and upgrades of SAP/Non SAP solutions and other enterprise applications. He will be leading a team of TMO Test Engineers and will define test strategy, plans, support developing and executing tests and documenting results, while coordinating testing activities among various teams. The TMO lead is responsible for daily status reporting, metrics, and statistics, leveraging LiveCompare Analytics applications for improved testing efficiency as well as coordinating and reporting on retrofit regression testing. This role supports audits and inspections and collaborates with functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that testing meets project and compliance requirements. The role also includes updating documentation and SOPs in response to testing tool version upgrades or changes, authoring SDLC documents for application releases, and coordinating documentation approval. Finally, the TMO lead conducts QA reviews and approvals to ensure compliance with quality standards.
What will you do in this role:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TMO testing professionals
Set clear priorities for the team, conduct performance reviews, coach, mentor and provide feedback.
Facilitate training and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Stay updated on industry regulations and changes that may impact testing processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for TMO-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the team in developing and maintaining test plans and strategies for various projects and releases.
Support the creation, documentation, and maintenance of test cases and scripts, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Oversee test execution, result documentation, and defect tracking using tools like XRAY for effective defect management.
Ensure quality assurance throughout the testing lifecycle by managing the testing process and governance.
Maintain GTP (Global Test Plan) documentation to ensure all testing activities are accurately recorded and updated.
Provide user support and training, including updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and eLearning trainings.
Define and manage the testing scope within SolMan, authoring any necessary enhancements.
Leverage LiveCompare Analytics applications to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare daily status reports, metrics, and statistics to track testing progress and outcomes.
Coordinate and report on retrofit regression testing activities to ensure system stability.
Support audit and inspection processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Update documentation and SOPs in response to testing tool version upgrades and process changes.
Author SDLC documents for releases and coordinate documentation approval processes.
Provide project support by participating in meetings and discussions related to TMO activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.
What Should you have:
Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
7+ years of experience in test management and governance activities, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment, quality assurance, or related fields.
Familiarity with SAP modules including FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, ARIBA, CONCUR, Fieldglass, SOLMAN and exposure to SAP S/4 HANA environments.
Familiarity with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry required.
Involvement in SAP/other enterprise application implementation or upgrade projects in testing roles is required.
Proven experience in various testing methodologies such as Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Performance Testing, and Load Testing required.
Proven experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jira XRAY, TOSCA, HP ALM, Load Runner, LiveCompare Analytics) is required.
Proficient in defect management tools including ALM, Jira-Xray, and Octane for defect identification, reporting, and tracking.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities leveraging latest technology
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and a proactive mindset to prevent issues before escalation.
Certifications in quality assurance, application management, project management and testing are preferred, such as: ITSQB (such as Certified Tester or Advanced Test Manager), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Tester Certification (CAT), Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT), PMP, or other relevant certifications.
Experience in creating Test Metrics Dashboard using Power BI and integrating with Test Management tools will be advantageous.
