We are currently seeking a Global Demand Manager that is responsible for keeping a tight control of the global demand plans submitted by the markets, by ensuring integrity of the bottom-up demand planning process and validation of commercial and strategical assumptions with the End-to-End (E2E) Supply Planning, Global Human Health division and Finance.
In this role, the employee establishes and runs a monthly routine analysis and reviews key highlights and metrics of the globally aggregated demand; while partnering with the global commercial teams and finance; as well as facilitating the bottom-up process from Top markets. By this, we guarantee, that the unconstrained demand sent to our Manufacturing Division reflects the most likely scenario in the 3-36 month horizon, as well as the strategical commercial expectations.

Products: all Pharmaceuticals and Biologics portfolio, including Business to Business
Markets: Global
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure monthly submission and aggregation of demand is executed timely and as per demand planning standards
Ensure all global demand reports and analytics are published timely and shared with the demand management peers and stakeholders
Analyze and review the regional demand outliers and represent Demand Management in the Executive S&OP forums
Analyze and review the global demand outliers with the Commercial, Finance and E2E Supply Planning during the dedicated Brand S&OP meetings
Analyze, review and simulate the global Risks & Opportunities in the event of new product launches, product LoE (Loss of Exclusivity) and/or event management.
Represent Demand Management in Global Supply Review, Integrated Executive Operation and other global S&OP forums
Build cross divisional bridges on upcoming new product launches and demand planning automation. Ensure accurate reconciliation of Financial and Demand Plans. Partner with Global Commercial teams on long term planning. Integrate the annual LROP (Long Range Operation Planning) and financial plans within the Integrated Business Planning routine
Act as a Demand Management Expert 1) Represent demand management in cross-divisional projects and propose/lead new way of working 2) Own the Demand Management Documents and its Global WIs and SOPs and 3) Collaborate closely with Supply Excellence on the development of demand management tools, reports, capabilities, and processes.
Professional education and skills
Minimum 3 years’ of Demand Planning, Demand Management and/or IBP/S&OP experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Finance and/or Commercial/Marketing in Pharmaceutical Industry
Prior experience in people management or leading cross cultural devision is preferred
Detailed knowledge of S&OP, Financial and Demand Planning processes and systems
Strong customer focus, inter-personal skills and information systems skills
Ability to listen to others and link to others’ ideas
Attention to detail and a passion for data analytics and accuracy
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders
Strong leadership through influencing and effectively resolving conflicts
Ability to manage people in a matrix reporting structure
Competency to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
