So, what will you be responsible for?
Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
- Developing and monitoring and maintaining overall monthly project and operational costs
- Supporting the Inventory reconciliation within SAP for our external warehouse network
- Understanding of WIP and finished good storage transactions within the ERP system
- Applying technical understanding to solve problems in Supply Chain.
- Collaboration with external supply chain warehouse partners and internal warehouse and inventory control team
- Supporting our logistics and transportation team with load planning, tracking, and customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with Global Trade Compliance and internal operational procedures.
What learning or experience will you gain:
- Understanding and functional expertise within SAP inventory modules
- Collaboration with external supply chain warehouse partners and internal warehouse and inventory control team
- Experience of logistics and transportation management with load planning, tracking, tendering and customer service.
- Tracking and measuring performance of ocean steamship lines with cargo, while communicating in transit and shipment status report to GID Customer Service
The ideal person:
- Pursuing a degree in Business/Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Willingness to tackle the challenges presented in the Supply Chain environment.
- Self-starter with drive for improvement and progression of assignments / projects
