We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Operator to join the Allflex production team. You will assemble electronic RFID readers used in animal health and livestock management, using hand and power tools and operating production equipment. The role requires strict adherence to quality and environmental, health and safety procedures, attention to detail, and accurate record keeping. This position includes opportunities to coach and support junior staff and to take on temporary Senior Technical Operator tasks to keep the shift running smoothly.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Assemble electronic RFID readers for animal health and livestock management, following work instructions and quality standards
Use hand and power tools and operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete job sheets and production records accurately
Spot and report machine faults, malfunctions or quality issues to your shift supervisor or Team Leader
Keep your work area clean, organised and compliant with safety procedures
Help with stock takes and other routine production tasks
Coach and support junior team members and step into temporary Senior Technical Operator duties to keep the shift running when required

What You Must have
Some production or assembly experience preferred, or a strong willingness to learn
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools and production equipment
Strong attention to detail and good time management
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Team player with flexibility, resilience and a readiness to take on temporary leadership duties
Demonstrated integrity and respectful, inclusive behaviour
