Role Overview:

The Solution Architect, CE Digital Marketing Channel IT is seeking a highly motivated individual accountable for developing and supporting web solution architectures. This role will be responsible for aligning/defining requirements across markets with global web delivery strategy and standards. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. In addition, this role will help identify opportunities to improve services, advance internal communication, and liaison between business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

Work with product, engineering, QA, and support team members as part of a delivery squad to enhance our platform.

Deconstruct complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions and ensure requirements and dependencies are well understood.

Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.

Communicate with global product teams & in-market Business and IT stakeholders to understand their requirements.

Understand and clarify business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Ensure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with global usage and standards.

Manage and sustain multiple projects at once while working cross-functionally across business and IT teams

Drive compliance with our Company’s cyber security standards and Software Development Lifecycle management methodology, as well as architectural standards.

Qualifications:

At least 2 to 5 years full-time working experience in IT, digital or a related field.

Hands on experience in WordPress (multisite, Gutenberg, themes, plugins, etc)

Excellent oral and written communication

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Broad understanding of information technology topics

Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities

Technically creative and open-minded

Knowledge of common WordPress development technologies and tools like PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, git, wp-cli, composer, etc. (hands-on development experience is a plus)

Experience with continuous delivery, devops and agile workflows

Clear communication skills, empathy, and creative thinking skills

Solid understanding of and commitment to web standards, including web accessibility standards (WCAG)

Familiar with important WordPress security concepts

Possess a good understanding of Design Systems, industry best practices and a commitment to excellent user experience.
