Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Medical Representative to join our Vaccines Franchise Unit in Lebanon. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our vaccine portfolio to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships, and driving vaccine awareness and uptake in the assigned territory.
Job Description:
The Vaccine Professional Medical Representative (PMR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company’s vaccines, as well as education and resources.
The PMR is the primary point of contact for a variety of customers within their assigned geography. These customers may include health care providers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists as well as quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers. Within their geography there are a diverse set of health care locations that they will call upon to execute their role including: clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and detail vaccines portfolio to healthcare professionals including pediatricians, general practitioners, pharmacists
- Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Responsible for sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers.
- Responds to customer questions.
- Effectively builds rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction by following established processes and procedures
- Responsible for product scientific detailing and differentiation during calls with customers.
- Responsible for the stakeholders and customer management on their defined calling lists eluding strong partnerships and relationships.
- Proactively assesses and defines challenges faced at territorial level and pitches to management for potential territorial/national solutions to better find opportunities for growth.
- Applies strong analytical capability in analyzing/tracking and optimizing accounts/customers consumption
- Responsible for managing and follow-through on the invoicing journey to customers insuring strong execution and monitoring.
- Leads key strategic territorial or national customer engagement initiatives from shaping with management support to execution as per SOPs.
- Acute sense of the competitive landscape
- Explore partnership initiative with assigned customers/accounts to develop and implement different programs to support inclusion and utilization franchise portfolio.
- Present quarterly territorial reviews to manager for their designated territories including customers, sales and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies, including ethical promotion practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative, preferably in vaccines or pharmaceutical products.
- Strong knowledge of vaccines, immunization schedules, and infectious diseases is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
- Results oriented with ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments
