We are seeking energetic, forward-thinking and experienced Senior Manager to be an integral member of our Business Process Management (BPM) software engineering team. As part of the team, the ideal candidate combines current, hands‑on software development experience and full system life‑cycle knowledge with deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform technologies—specifically PowerApps and Power Automate—and preferably Power BI. This role is expected to manage a small team of contract developers, drive end‑to‑end delivery of BPM applications and integration solutions for global, regional and local market audience, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Role Overview:

We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with full system life cycle ownership.
  • 3+ years hands on experience building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform—PowerApps and Power Automate—delivering production applications.
  • Demonstrated experience leading small engineering teams or technical project teams (people management, mentoring, performance reviews).
  • Solid understanding of application design, APIs, integration patterns, data modelling, and security (OAuth, Azure AD, role-based access).
  • Experience with Dataverse / CDS, custom connectors, SharePoint repositories and managing environment strategies.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record managing multiple projects and delivering to schedule.
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent skills in communication, relationship building and influencing other.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI report development (DAX, data modelling, row level security, performance tuning).
  • Familiarity with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Service) and integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure.
  • Experience implementing ALM for Power Platform: solution packaging, source control strategies, automated deployments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Functional Consultant, or Azure Developer.
  • Agile / Scrum experience as a practitioner (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or development team lead).
  • Experience in BPM concepts, process modelling (BPMN), and process automation governance.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a geographically disbursed environment.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Lead delivery of BPM software projects from concept through production, ensuring timely completion, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a small team of developer contractors; conduct regular team cadence meetings and performance reviews.
  • Actively participate in hands on design and development using Microsoft Power Platform—PowerApps (canvas and model driven), Power Automate (cloud flows, UI flows as appropriate), Dataverse/Dataverse for Teams, and custom connectors.
  • Define and enforce architecture, coding standards, security controls, and governance for Power Platform solutions (tenant policies, DLP, role-based access).
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (product owners, process owners, IT security, data teams) to gather requirements, prioritize backlog, define acceptance criteria, and validate solutions.
  • Oversee testing strategies: unit testing, integration testing, UAT coordination, and automated test practices where feasible.
  • Monitor production systems, lead incident response and root cause analysis for issues, and implement corrective/ preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and status reports; escalate issues appropriately.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and documentation in the Digital SDLC platform; facilitate knowledge transfer and training for business users.
  • Measure and report on solution performance, user adoption, ROI, and process improvement metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships when external expertise is engaged; ensure delivery quality and contractual compliance.
  • Champion best practices for low code/no code development while balancing custom development needs; evaluate and recommend tools and enhancements to the Power Platform ecosystem.
