Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and develop key accounts within the Pharmacy sector across the counties. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building long-term collaborative business partnerships with key stakeholders, including national, regional, local, and independent pharmacies, private clinics, and local wholesalers.
Main Role and Responsibilities:
Partnership Development: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the customer group to influence decision-making processes and facilitate business development.
Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison for pharmacies and other key accounts to address inquiries and concerns related to product offerings.
Customer Coverage: Regularly visit and engage with designated customers to understand their needs and promote company portfolio effectively.
Business Results Management: Drive business outcomes for assigned accounts in the designated geographic area.
Product Allocation Management: Oversee the allocation of products and the purchasing process from local wholesalers, ensuring effective communication regarding inventory and stock management.
Account Strategy: Develop customized account plans and segmentation strategies to maximize market opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to leverage resources and create tailored solutions for customers.
Market Analysis: Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and further develop the customer relationship through actionable insights.
Value Proposition Creation: Articulate and demonstrate the value of products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Result Areas & Tasks:
Build and implement strategies for account targeting and segmentation.
Conduct thorough business analysis and account diagnosis to identify customer needs.
Develop action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Create measurable goals and KPIs to assess performance and success.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, scientific); Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in a customer-facing role, with experience in key account management.
Previous experience in marketing is a plus.
Strong understanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systems.
Proficient in both Romanian and English.
