Job Description: The Safety Data Manager (SDM) serves as an expert in adverse experience (AE) case management activities and exhibits comprehensive therapeutic area knowledge. Demonstrates a strong understanding of business objectives and priorities and ensures the execution of Global Pharmacovigilance Case Management (GPVCM) strategy. Under the guidance of a Manager, the SDM can lead or perform more complex supporting activities, projects, or initiatives, in collaboration with internal and/or cross-functional stakeholders.
Among other tasks, the Safety Data Manager is responsible for: · Executing core and/or support case management activities independently, ensuring the highest quality of all deliverables in a sustained manner. · Proactively providing support to team members, sharing good practices, and serving as a point of contact for expert input when needed. · Facilitating communication and alignment while developing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals. · Leading and/or promoting process improvement or change initiatives by identifying opportunities, performing data collection and analysis, developing solutions identifying risks, and enabling process implementation.
Education and other Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in health care or life sciences disciplines. Advanced writing/reading and intermediate speaking/listening English language skills. Significant experience in pharmacovigilance or job-related field. Optional advanced writing/reading and intermediate speaking/listening other region-specific language skills.
