What you will do:
Under the direction of the Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of finance workstream activities for division integration project, maintaining financials for assigned IT area.
Maintain monthly rolling forecast for assigned IT Finance area.
Timely execution and closure of financial workstream deliverables as part of broader optimization initiative and organization finance integration project
Evaluate current processes to identify areas of better integration and/ or simplification as part of division integration project
Perform Apptio TBM regular data update, data mapping and bulk uploads for division integration project, and analysis as part financial month end /quarter end/ year end close activities.
Perform monthly/ adhoc analysis, monitors divisional financial transactions to ensure they remain within budget. Assist in the direction of the estimates for specific areas within IT and assist in the execution of recovery plans when estimates are over or under targets.
Perform accruals and journal vouchers when needed.
Require communication with team members across the globe.
Provide budget and resource capacity information to support project and budget managers.
Manage the analysis and reporting of project financial aspects of initiatives within and related to the IT Portfolio
Ensure compliance with all SOX404 accounting requirements by assuring monthly Financial close for capital and expense occurs without error.
Work in partnership with IT Business Operations Centers of Excellence, Business Shared Services, IT Product Managers, and Clients to deliver on financial management objectives
What you should have:
Financial budgeting experience and proficiency
Finance project management and change impact assessment experience example organizational changes finance integration, system transformation or similar.
Proficiency with SAP Financial Systems including BPC and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial information and report the results to value team/ project leads using PowerBI, Microsoft Excel Pivot and Charts, Microsoft PowerPoint (Think Cell)
Maintain and analyze value team budgets and rolling forecast using Apptio Technology Business Management (TBM)
Capability to take initiative and independently solve problems
Ability to work autonomously with the ability to lead, engage and track initiatives with individuals/teams
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
Requires an understanding of financial analysis techniques, effective problem-solving skills, and a broad knowledge of or an aptitude to learn, the Company's planning and reporting processes.
Highly flexible and demonstrate a high level of intensity in working at a precise level of detail.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other finance colleagues in other global Company's locations and work effectively with customers, support groups and technical staff at all levels.
Understanding of CAPEX and OPEX principles
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Regional or global experience desired
