Role Overview:
The Associate Director for Digital Methods and Data is responsible for managing the day to day work priorities for the local Hyderabad DMMD Quality labs team and supporting the systems and lab transformation activities as defined by the team goals and objectives and project priorities. This role is responsible teammates and contract resources are configuring a set of products enabling method execution that meet the specified business’ requirements, drive efficiency and digitize ways of working. They will also have responsibility for defining and prioritizing requests from the business, and managing effort, deliverables and potentially workstreams associated with team projects.
The Digital Lab Systems Support Associate Director is responsible for ensuring alignment with business priorities, aligning the team to those priorities, staff development, and work prioritization. The team is responsible for coordinating the requirements, configuration, validation and publishing of digital quality control test methods across the global instance of LabWare. They are responsible for the global configuration of the methods, and the data analysis post method execution. They are responsible for building trust and develop new relationships with internal and external clients to effectively collaborate and achieve successful outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Digital transformation and delivery of quality control digital methods and supporting data.
- Responsible for Digital transformation and delivery of quality control digital GLIMS templates and supporting data.
- Day to day Hyderabad DMMD Lab Systems Team management and priorities
- Responsible to align team goals and assignments with delivery and launch priorities to ensure digital methods availability for new products
- Coordinate the release from planning to publishing in the global methods library ensuring high quality on-schedule releases
- Ensure adherence to the standards described for the global digital method parameters and templates.
- Support the data compilation of key quality monitoring processes, including quality dashboarding, Assay Monitoring, and annual product reviews.
- Protect the validated state of the digital methods and its supporting services using formal procedures and change control. Prioritize the changes. Understand the complex dependencies, and tracking delivery as they meet the integrated delivery targets
- Ensure alignment on parent and partnership objectives. Manage partner relationships on a continuous and consistent basis
- Standardize and streamline the development and operations processes. Help create and perpetuate a single, well-documented process that enables teams to learn from previous products and apply that experience to future product releases.
- Serve as a Quality Management digital innovation thought leader in digital methods development. Understand and promote optimized ways of leveraging existing technology to deliver digital methods to the business
- Collaborate in defining critical digital specific KPIs, metrics, and business outcomes that deliver an ROI to the organization and communicate them effectively
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with DMMD and QC lab leadership and stakeholders to achieve key objectives and deliverables through building relationships and credibility within the organization.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge with LabWare LIMS, GMP practices and computer validation procedures
- 8+ years of experience of Digital/technology focused Quality Monitoring & Management.
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment, involving quality decision making, with a proven track record of effectively supporting a moderate to large size quality function from a technology/digital perspective
- Ability to leverage the LabWare DME/DLR solution to formulate a digital design for analytical methods within that application and that meets business requirements and can be delivered within the desired timeframe
- Extensive knowledge of the way of working, the business process, equipment and methodology in QC; ability to leverage this knowledge to formulate technical solution strategy
- Proven track record of collaborating and working within high performing diverse teams. Proven ability to create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, continual learning, and development of digital/technology leaders for future advancement
- Self-motivated, value-oriented with a mindset of continuous learning. Experience managing and motivating multiple teams; Excellent communication and presentation skills for a wide range of audiences. Communicates candidly and fluently in English
