Position Description:

In this position, you will gain and maintain the understanding of business across China, deliver business value through data insight, advance analytics, AI and machine learning. You will work closely with business and technology teams to maximize the value of data. You will also design and develop solution to advance the utilization of data including exploratory analysis, feature engineering, predictive model, and so on.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with stakeholders, understand business needs/priorities, act as data science expert with in-depth knowledge such as data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, applied data science or statistical techniques to translate those requirements into innovative solutions.

- Leverage cutting-edge techniques and transform large and complex data into actionable insights to assist data-driven decisions.

- Design machine learning approach, developing custom algorithms as needed by the business problem

- Collaborate with cross-functional to implement robust design and implement AI/ML production in cloud environment.

- Communicate and interpreter analytical results to business partners and stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications required

- Degree in computer science or relevant technical/scientific field.

- 5~7 years working experience in a data scientist role, related experience in consumer goods industry is preferred. previous experience on consumer related analysis (promotion mix, sentiment, big data mining, etc..) is a plus.

- Expertise in data science and predictive approaches, excellent with mainstream data analysis tools: Python, R, SAS, Julia….

- Working knowledge of distributed training and parallel computing on machine learning tools, such as AWS Sage Maker

- Be curious and keep up with the frontier artificial intelligence field: machine learning, deep learning, generative AI.

- Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the pattern

- Fluent in English. Be able to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences
