Job Description
Develop and implement external and internal communications plans to support business objectives
Oversee issues management communications to effectively protect company’s reputation
Drive omni-channel media relations function effectively and strategically
Create new corporate branding opportunities and strategies to enhance corporate reputation
Develop innovative social media strategies for shared media properties (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and owned channels (Japan corporate website, internal channels)
Drive strategic communication campaigns focused on policy makers to protect our business and enhance corporate reputation λ Develop and implement internal communications plan that feature two way engagement and a feedback loop for more than 3,000 Japan colleagues
Develop and manage Executive Thought leadership communications plan that include press conferences, interviews, company-wide meetings, and messaging for President and Executive Members λ Collaborate with global communications and policy colleagues at our US Headquarters and maintain successful and mutually respectful relationship.
Develop, implement, and assess CSR strategies to develop and maintain good relationship with communities in Japan
Collaborate strategically and effectively with PR/Advertising agencies to drive results in communications initiatives
Guide strategic relationship with patient advocacy groups to understand patients’ needs and work toward common goals
Requirement
Expertise in Communications and Public Relations: Must have extensive knowledge and experience in Communications and PR ideally in health care related industries but not limited.. Eligible candidates need to understand , theory of Communications and PR and project management *Smart and Swift Strategist: Able to quickly collect and process internal and external information promptly and effectively; provide appropriate and timely guidance to relevant divisions
Innovative Leader: Ability to articulate your unique perspective, demonstrate leadership and explain it clearly to others to gain support
Relationship Builder: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and employees within your division
Problem Solving: Ability to provide solutions to complex problems based on your own knowledge and experience
Risk Management Specialist: Ability to collect information about potential risks and offer methodology to prevent incidents and to protect company’s reputation
Team-building Expertise: Ability to implement communications programs effectively where multiple stakeholders work together; Ability to think, suggest, and act proactively. Build high engagement among team members
Knowledgeable about Regulations and Policy in the industry or able to gain those overtime: Ability to understand relevant laws, regulations, and company rules & guidelines required for operations and apply them to your own tasks and duties
Able Multi-Tasker: Ability to execute multiple complex tasks effectively at high speed with a limited time period
Good Public Speaker: Skills to create and publicly read documents, discuss, and give presentations both in Japanese and English
Branding Expertise; Understanding of corporate branding to raise awareness of the company and to build a good reputation
