Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production team’s operations, effective allocation resources of labor, equipment during specific shift work and ensuring that the production goals are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety regulation are strictly followed.

  • Production Supervisor should proactively coordinate with partners from other functions at Dong Nai site to ensure that products produced consistently to meet compliance, quality, processes, and time delivery.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

  • Supervise routine operation of labor workers including contractor workers to fulfill production plan as scheduled to adapt customer demand.

  • Develop/revise standard operational practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards

  • Develop training plan and ensure that only suitably trained workers to perform tasks.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and productivity.

  • Manage OpEx to align with budget.

  • Complete investment projects on schedule, with reasonable cost and required quality when assigned

  • Proactively support to perform trial for new product launch and packaging material.

  • Allocate manpower, assign tasks, and balance workloads across lines or cells; manage changeovers efficiently

  • Escalate and resolve bottlenecks, constraints, and equipment issues in real time

  • Investigate deviation, if any, and respond to corrective action and CAPA including customer specific problems as assigned.

  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by educating and directing personnel how to use equipment and facilities efficiently

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Professional Competencies Required

  • Organization, Supervising, Leadership skill.

  • Open and Compliance thinking.

  • Ability to work under pressure and compliance with strict deadlines

Desired Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years experience in industrial production, pharmaceutical is preferable.

  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Functional Competencies Required

  • Ability to work overtime, night shift
