This Team is an essential component of the IT Business that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, and Marketing organizations.

Role Overview:
Our company is an essential component of the IT enterprise that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, and Marketing organizations.
Reporting to the Director, IT Business Continuity, the incumbent will coordinate and lead simulation exercises involving our teams and key third‑party vendors. Working under the direction of the IT Business Continuity program lead, the role will also manage training and awareness initiatives and drive the development and updating of business continuity plans at least every three years for all IT Product Owners.
What will you do in this role
- Under the direction of the Associate Director, IT Business Continuity, lead delivery of key initiatives of the IT enterprise business continuity roadmap, including the Top Enterprise Third-Party IT BC activities, and tri-annual updating and testing of IT BC plans.
- Drive execution of the IT Business Continuity program, translating direction from the Leader, into actionable plans, milestones, and deliverables while independently managing competing priorities.
- Advise and partner with stakeholders across IT and the business throughout the business continuity lifecycle, including conducting business impact analyses, defining continuity strategies, developing and maintaining plans, and designing scenario‑based exercises.
- Plan, coordinate, and support large‑scale simulation and vendor resiliency exercises with strategic third‑party providers, including scheduling, facilitation, documentation of findings, and oversight of remediation activities.
- Synthesize partner and stakeholder feedback, identify program gaps and opportunities, and present prioritized recommendations to program leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain subject‑matter awareness of industry best practices, emerging threats, and supporting technologies by engaging internal and external communities; evaluate implications for program strategy and implementation.
- Prepare and coach stakeholders for tabletop exercises and audits; lead remediation tracking and closure to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
What should you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience driving the IT Business Continuity strategy development, planning, and execution for a large-scale enterprise, with proven experience as an SME.
- Demonstrated strong cross-functional team leadership, facilitation, and influencing ability.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, and ability to plan and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in ambiguity, to problem solve, and to make rapid / disciplined decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with effective, timely execution and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to be successful within a matrix organization where strong leadership, influence and collaboration are essential to enlist support and commitment from peers.
- Proficient in managing virtual engagements and/or workshops with a variety of international stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of different leadership personalities.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings, as this position will require periodic on-site attendance as-needed.
- Experience using productivity and collaboration tools, e.g., Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of compliance and digital regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800 series.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, Apptio Target process.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated environment such as health care or finance.
- Broad understanding of end-to-end company operations and organizational structure including research and development, manufacturing, commercial operations, financial processes, & IT.
- Experience and/or certification in related fields of risk management, crisis management, disaster recovery, or business continuity planning.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of compliance and digital regulations.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800 series.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, Apptio Target process.
