Associate Director, Learning and Development (Team Leader) – Vaccine Business Unit (Alliance Model)

Position Objective
Lead the design and execution of learning strategies for the Vaccine Business Unit (VBU) under the our company–Zhifei Alliance Model. Drive capability building and strategic alignment across ACE and ZF sales teams to ensure flawless execution of brands strategies, elevate commercial capabilities, and enable transformation initiatives that strengthen alliance effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy Execution: Develop and implement annual learning plans aligned with VBU priorities and alliance objectives. Ensure brand strategy realization in an effective way.
2. Capability Development: Elevate ACE and ZF core commercial capabilities through targeted programs: Field coaching, Alliance Management 2.0, KDM Management.
3. Transformation & Evaluation: Implement Alliance Management Evaluation System, including iteration, and nationwide adoption. Enhance coaching systems for ACE and ZF, linking behavioral data to performance for a closed loop learning model.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with ACE, Brand Marketing, Medical Affairs, ISD and HR as well as Zhifei’s senior leadership, conduct regular conversation with key stakeholders to seek and give feedback etc.
5. COE Domain – Leadership & Soft Skills
Drive the Center of Excellence (COE) for leadership and soft skills development across business units and enabling functions.
Design and deliver programs aligned with Enterprise Leadership Skills (ELS) framework to build leadership behaviors and cultural agility.
Partner with global L&D to ensure consistency in leadership capability building and enhancement.
6. Team management
Lead, coach, and grow team; set up clear goals, manage team’s workload, and develop the essential skills in needs analysis, design, facilitation, and measurement
Establish team’s ways of working, governance, and quality standards for learning design and delivery
Foster a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and continuous improvement
7. Compliance and quality: Ensure training meets regulatory and compliance requirements; maintain auditable training records; ensure the compliance behavior within the team.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in L&D or commercial capability building within healthcare/pharma industry, preferable with vaccine experiences; 3-4 years in team leader roles.
