Job Description
The Data Analyst Associate Specialist will support the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team by assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting of hardware asset data within ServiceNow. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their analytical skills and gain experience in data management and reporting in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the collection and validation of hardware asset data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support the development of reports and dashboards in ServiceNow to provide insights into hardware asset performance and utilization.
Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and anomalies in hardware asset data.
Collaborate with senior analysts to prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Assist in the documentation of processes and procedures related to data management and reporting.
Stay updated on best practices in data analysis and asset management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in IT asset management or a related area.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Familiarity with Python is preferred
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
