PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The EURAM Livestock Milking and Automation Commercial Leader is mainly responsible for executing the Milking and Automation portion of our dairy strategy. This role partners closely with global marketing, local sales leads and technical teams to coordinate the successful execution and deployment of our products, services and brands in the dairy space; the core activity would be to accelerate the technology solutions’ adoption, while executing launch excellence, according to our rich innovation roadmap. The role is responsible for presenting carefully outlined business cases to executive leadership.

PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The EURAM Livestock Milking and Automation Commercial Leader:
Leads the development of EURAM commercial plans for products including price, customer experience, sales collateral, and forecasting for the dairy monitoring solutions
Partners with the SenseHub Behaviour Monitoring Lead to strategically position our Milking and Automation solutions to better support customer expansion and retention
Partners with the Global Technology Roadmap Lead to successfully execute the dairy strategy, while we position the EURAM innovation needs also feeding the global pipeline and roadmap accordingly.
Driven by customer centricity, the role understands the value drivers of our existing and new customers, the industry and public policy identifying unmet demands and generates input to the strategic direction of the Milking and Automation portfolio and business models
- Creates BU Directors and GMs relationships and establish regular collaboration and fluid communication
- Maintains engagement, regular feedback and clear communication with internal stakeholders (R&D Tech Labs and Data Labs, Marketing, Commercial, Commercial Operations, Customer Support) including MAH Local, Regional and Global teams
- Looks for external partners, traditional and non-traditional stakeholders in the milk industry and automation, including the data space.
- Is responsible for piloting projects in collaboration with Global, Regional and Local teams realizing scalability and geo expansion of Proof of Concepts and Innovations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Background & Education:
Minimum a Bachelor or equivalent degree in marketing, commercial, technology, agriculture or related fields
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales roles in the technology or agricultural field
Deep understanding of the dairy industry and milking operations
Must have proven experience in managing projects
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
Must be a self-starter that takes pride in their work product and is focused on delivering results
Demonstrate a forward thinking, agile and strategic approach
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a change environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any additional language is a plus.

Ability to travel overnight and some weekend activity. Travel estimated at approximately 25% - 50% of the time including the potential for international travel
