Join our IT Data Domain as a Data Quality Senior Specialist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, trustworthiness, and business impact of our data products. You will shape how data quality is defined, measured, and operationalized across the organization, partnering with product, engineering, analytics, and governance teams to drive meaningful outcomes. This is a hands-on, high-influence role for someone who loves solving complex data problems and raising the bar for data excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Data Quality (DQ) Strategy & Standards
Define and evolve enterprise-aligned data quality standards across dimensions like accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency
Establish guardrails, ownership models, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) to ensure clarity and accountability
Embed “data quality by design” into the lifecycle of data products and pipelines
Operationalize Quality Across Data Products
Partner with Product Owners and engineers to manage data contracts, schema changes, and incident resolution
Lead root-cause analysis and implement preventive controls using data lineage and impact analysis
Manage DQ backlogs and drive continuous improvement using measurable KPIs
Implement Monitoring, Observability & Controls
Build automated DQ checks, observability dashboards, and health scorecards
Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets to measure and improve data reliability
Support identity resolution and master data alignment across domains
Partner & Influence Across the Organization
Translate DQ metrics into clear business insights for leaders and stakeholders
Collaborate with analytics and ML teams to ensure high-quality inputs for models
Strengthen data literacy through training, best practices, and Community of Practice leadership
Advance Compliance, Audit, and Data Trust
Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting through strong lineage and metadata practices
Promote dataset trust signals to help consumers make confident data decisions
What You’ll Bring:
Experience from data quality, data engineering, data governance, or data product roles (ideally with some focus on DQ/observability)
Strong SQL and Python skills for profiling, rule authoring, and automation
Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks/Spark, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Kafka)
Familiarity with DQ & observability tools (Great Expectations, Soda, Deequ, Monte Carlo, Databand, Collibra/Alation)
Understanding of data modeling, CI/CD practices, and metadata/lineage management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and business teams
Background in IT operations data, telemetry/observability, CMDB, or regulated environments
