Job Description
Our Oncology team works across functions to bring innovative cancer treatments to patients who need them most. You will join a science‑driven, collaborative environment where your expertise directly helps shape the future of oncology care in the cluster Croatian / Slovenia.
As Medical Advisor Oncology, you are the key medical and scientific expert for our oncology portfolio. You will lead the Country Oncology Medical Affairs Plan and build strong partnerships with the medical community and internal stakeholders to support patient access, evidence generation, and high‑quality cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Country Oncology Medical Affairs Plan in line with regional/global oncology strategy.
- Work closely with Market Access, Policy, Regulatory, Marketing, and regional medical teams to support timely patient access to oncology medicines.
- Identify and engage scientific leaders and key decision makers; maintain high‑quality, ethical scientific dialogue.
- Identify clinical and educational gaps; plan and support medical education, local data generation, RWE studies, and IIS when relevant.
- Provide expert medical input for Market Access dossiers, Patient Access Programs, educational events, and congress activities.
- Supply robust scientific data to support formularies and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain high expertise in oncology and act as a trusted internal and external medical/scientific reference.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in oncology is expected as an asset.
- Understanding of drug development, oncology therapies, and local clinical practice (preferred proficient level).
- High ethics and integrity; strong compliance mindset.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with HCPs, scientific leaders, and authorities.
- Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Clear, impactful communication and presentation skills.
- Effective in cross‑functional, matrix environments; collaborative team player.
- Proficient English (written and spoken).
Education & Experience
- Medical Degree (preferred) or Pharmacist degree or PhD in Life Sciences (required).
- Experience in Oncology and Medical Affairs strongly preferred; pharma/biotech experience is an advantage.
