An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Scientist, Chemistry, to join the Analytical Development & Commercialization Team. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on laboratory work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is eager to contribute to the reliability and compliance of our environmental monitoring and stability programs.

In this position, you will play a key role in environmental monitoring and support on‑site stability activities. You will also support the wider Lab Systems Group by engaging with compliance and improvement initiatives. This role offers exposure across multiple laboratory systems (eg. instrumentation, regulatory requests, change control, VMI management, reference standards, and retain samples) and the opportunity for future growth as the scope of the group evolves.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

• Perform routine and non‑routine environmental monitoring (EM) in accordance with approved protocols and procedures.

• Support the execution and documentation of on‑site stability programs for drug product, API, and intermediates.

• Complete analytical testing as required to support product release.

• Document all sampling and testing activities accurately and completely within electronic lab systems, following GMP and ALCOA principles.

• Support compilation, review, and trending data and reports.

• Contribute to quality investigations by providing analytical support under the direction of the Laboratory Leader or designate.

• Ensure full compliance with cGMP, safety standards, and all applicable quality procedures.

• Complete the investigation of laboratory events in line with site and divisional procedures.

• Accountable for own laboratory safety practices. Follow the principles of Safe by Choice.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will require

• Minimum of BSc in Chemistry or related discipline.

• Ability to perform testing with a high degree of precision and accuracy.

• Good documentation practices in compliance with ALCOA principles and GMP expectations.

• Ability to understand and internalise procedures relevant to GMP operations.

• Good communication skills

• Good Team and interpersonal skills.
