Job Description

We are seeking a commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to lead the execution of regional digital marketing strategy across Sub-Saharan Africa. Operating within a centralized regional marketing model, this role ensures excellence in local execution, strong adoption of regional marketing technologies, and effective localization of regional campaigns and materials. Major Activities and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to translate brand strategy into integrated digital campaign plans.

  • Align local execution with regional priorities, platforms, and frameworks.

  • Provide performance insights and market feedback to shape digital direction.

  • Build and manage the Sub-Saharan Africa digital campaign calendar, sequencing campaigns based on impact and capacity.

  • Drive alignment with Business Unit Directors and senior stakeholders on priorities and timing.

  • Define and track campaign KPIs, lead post-campaign performance reviews, and propose improvements.

  • Establish and manage campaign approval workflows, standardize reporting templates, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical policies.

  • Support the rollout and adoption of regional marketing technologies and manage external digital agencies for high-quality execution.

  • Partner with Brand teams to plan and execute digital promotion strategies for virtual and hybrid brand events, including online congresses, webinars, and educational forums.

  • Translate event objectives into integrated digital engagement campaigns across email, paid media, social, and owned channels.

  • Support end-to-end digital activation including audience acquisition, registration journeys, reminders, live engagement tactics, and post-event follow-up.

  • Track and analyze event performance metrics (registrations, attendance, engagement, content interaction) and provide optimization recommendations.

  • Coordinate with agencies and regional teams to ensure seamless digital execution that aligns with brand strategy and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital, or related field.

· 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing, campaign management, or marketing program management.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience supporting multi-country or regional marketing initiatives.

  • Ability to translate marketing strategy into structured, executable digital plans.

  • Strong understanding of how digital channels support commercial objectives.

  • Confident engaging and aligning senior stakeholders, including Business Unit Directors.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
