Territories Covered: Gippsland Victoria, Australia and Tasmania
Work with a high performing, agile and passionate sales team
Full training provided: TSM role would suit a passionate, motivated sales orientated individual with an interest in Animal Health
Opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager - Monitoring to drive the sales and adoption of our cutting-edge Animal Health Intelligence monitoring systems within a defined geographical territory. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for precision farming solutions.
Success in this role requires the ability to engage with end users (farmers), key industry influencers, and opinion leaders to promote and implement our innovative monitoring technology. The Territory Sales Manager will also be responsible for delivering impactful sales presentations and executing strategic marketing initiatives to maximise product uptake.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Strategic Sales Approach
Drive sales growth and market share expansion of Animal Health Intelligence monitoring products in line with annual targets.
Execute territory-specific marketing campaigns to maximise the adoption of promoted products.
Provide product training to farmers and industry personnel, both one-on-one and in group settings.
Conduct on-farm visits to demonstrate and sell our company’s monitoring solutions.
Identify new product and market opportunities to enhance business growth.
Gather and report on local market intelligence, trends, and competitor activities.
Customer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key farmers, industry influencers, and advocates within the territory.
Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers to drive awareness and adoption of monitoring systems.
Plan and execute targeted customer engagement activities to uncover sales opportunities and expand product installations.
Maintain a structured call cycle strategy to ensure consistent customer engagement and service levels.
Adhere to company expectations for monthly, quarterly, and annual customer interactions.
What You Must Have
Required Skills & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Commercial sales experience, ideally in the agricultural or technology sectors.
Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
Highly developed territory management skills, including time management, prioritisation, and strategic planning.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
Willingness to travel away from home consistently based on business needs.
