About the role:
The Process Intelligence and Experience Design organization serves as a strategic enabler of enterprise transformation. We bring end-to-end visibility to business processes, connect data and user insights to decision making and ensure that optimization precedes automation. As an Associate Director in the Process Intelligence team, you will play a pivotal consultative role in partnering across business, technology and product organizations to drive structured process discovery, architect future-state designs and translate insights into measurable performance improvement. The role blends strategic advisory capability, analytical rigor and facilitation expertise to shape process transformation initiatives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders globally to.
Identify and take ownership of opportunities and driving business process improvements with transformational impact
Develop a deep understanding of client needs, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex processes and data into actionable insights that align with organizational goals & strategy
Collaborate & Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
Leverage knowledge of core systems to locate appropriate process data
Partner with data owners to identify data sources that can be leveraged in process models
Produce process models using relevant applications
Demonstrate process models and data driven recommendations to end users
Key Responsibilities:
Consulting, Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management Support
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate findings, present recommendations, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Maintain ongoing relationships for feedback and continuous improvement.
Lead process discovery session across or within functions and value streams to uncover process friction, systemic bottlenecks, role ambiguity and value leakage
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in Automation, AI and Process Intelligence. Proactively recommend process improvements and automation opportunities that integrate AI capabilities.
Take ownership of collating information and creating reports to support strategy and change management efforts with stakeholders
Business Process Modelling & Requirements Gathering
Takes accountability for modelling current-state and desired business process scenarios, applying corporate modelling standards, definitions, techniques (e.g. BPMN – Business Process Modelling and Notation) and utilizing corporate sanctioned modelling tools (e.g. CPM - Celonis Process Modelling)
Conduct and own advanced analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimal solutions which may leverage AI, Automation or Process Intelligence technologies. Utilize process mapping and modelling techniques to visualize workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to automation, AI and process initiatives. Facilitate and leads workshops, interviews, and surveys to elicit functional and non-functional requirements and turn them into testable User Stories as needed.
Owns, drives, scopes and prioritizes requirements for large initiatives for the development of Business Process Digital Twin objects and events, its associated KPI Control Towers and other associated assets, ensuring their traceability and formal agreement with process owners
Ensures that relevant business context and process understanding is captured and leveraged for AI and/or Agentic AI solutions
Business Process Architecture & Value Analysis
Synthesize qualitative insights with quantitative data (process mining, task mining, KPIs) to establish baseline performance and root cause analysis.
Ensures all phases of the development of business process digital twins are completed including defining, documenting, and ensuring traceability of requirements, SDLC documentation, user Acceptance Testing, validation of the identified data sources and data profiling of processes’ digital footprints, sustainment activities to Digital Twins and their KPI Control Towers and associated assets resulting from process updates
Owns and drives the utilization of the process intelligence tool set of (1) process models (2) task mining and mapping and (3) digital twins, leads in analyzing and documenting efficiencies and improvement opportunities for defined business processes
Drives, scopes and prioritizes the identification of process conformance violations & deviations to generate value opportunities and in the development of KPI's based on data points and business opportunity needs
Collaborate to embed experience design principles to improve user, customers, and stakeholder outcomes.
Business Analysis
Ensures core elements of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation throughout the SDLC process, including requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals, ensuring all relevant information is accessible for current and future reference.
Partners and collaborates with relevant teams to develop test cases and test scripts for automated and AI-driven solutions. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Collaborates cross functionally across the APEX organization to ideate optimization outcomes leveraging innovative technology solutions within platform guidelines and recommendations
Coaching & Development
Be able to coach, mentor and develop team members engaged in initiative and project-based assignments, ensuring it is aligned with organizational and professional development goals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science/MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering or Science
At least 7 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated expertise in using information to analyze business performance, identify opportunities and solve problems
At least 7 years of business analysis, process design or process improvement experience
High motivation, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Teamwork and collaborative focus, customer service oriented
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
Skills & Experience:
An analytical problem solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data
Collaborative: demonstrated experience applying excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills working with global and cross-functional teams towards common goals, realizing that the best results come from the combined efforts of many teams
Detail-oriented: Pays close attention to the nuances of processes and requirements, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Knowledge of and experience with enterprise software systems or methodologies (e.g., SAP, information management practices, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Persistent and driven: Demonstrated characteristics of a forward thinker and self motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts to learning new knowledge and technologies
Passionate: passion for quantifying human-driven systems and exploring those systems using automation techniques

Flexibility: Not only bring Process Intelligence expertise but also be willing to expand their skills into areas like User Experience, AI or Business Analysis based on Organizational needs

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
