Job Description
The Sales Manager reports to the Business Unit Head and work closely with Marketing, Medical, Key Account Managers, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and Strategy Realization (Digital & Data Analytics) organizations to exceed business objectives.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

Sales Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets for vaccine products.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Provide guidance and coaching to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Market Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to vaccine products.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential challenges.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and decision-makers in healthcare institutions (hospitals, clinics), medical societies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent, positive, customer experience buy anticipating, understanding, and addressing concerns.

Product Knowledge:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our oncology product, staying informed about advancements, updates, and regulatory requirements.
Aling and educate the sales team on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages and how to best use all available promotional resources.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and present findings to senior management.
Partner with data & analytics team to derive data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales performance.

Compliance:
Ensure team compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies, while holding self and team to the highest ethical standards in all activities.
Partner with the Business Practices team to understand, comply & reinforce sales team’ trainings and knowledge about company code of conduct, SOPs, ethical standards, and local regulations.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Participate in cross-functional teams to contribute to product development and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Having high ethical standards, and personal integrity
Education: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably with a focus on oncology or non-retail / specialty market. Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
4. Language – Must be fluent Spanish, English will be a plus
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, negotiate contracts, and manage customer relationships effectively.
6. In-depth knowledge of oncology products and the overall oncology market in Chile.
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Strong analytical skills to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, adapting strategies to meet evolving market dynamics.
Willingness to travel up to 25% - 30%
