Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the poultry business unit operations.
Lead daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient poultry production and distribution.
Develop and implement strategies to grow the poultry business in the Mexican market.
Create and execute market-specific plans to increase sales and market share in Mexico.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
Work with other departments (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to meet company objectives.
Monitor market trends and adjust business strategies accordingly.
Track industry shifts and update plans to stay competitive and responsive.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Maintain regulatory compliance across operations, quality, and safety requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance to the poultry business unit team.
Mentor and direct staff to build capabilities and achieve unit goals.
Develop and manage budgets for the poultry business unit.
Plan, allocate, and control financial resources to meet targets and optimize costs.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the poultry sector.
Seek partnerships, products, or channels that expand revenue and growth.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Build and sustain strong ties with suppliers, distributors, customers, and regulators.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Evaluate staff performance and give constructive feedback to drive improvement.
Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Introduce proven methods and process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Oversee customer-facing processes to deliver excellent service and resolve issues.
Qualifications
Required
Degree in Veterinary Science or Business administration areas
5 year of experience in the Animal Health market
5 year of experience with strong leadership and team management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of managing business operations and achieving sales targets
Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
Proficiency in Spanish and English
Preferred
Advanced degree in Veterinary Science or related field
Experience with poultry business operations in other international markets
Familiarity with cross-functional team collaboration
Experience in the Mexican market
