Current QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence (essential)
Certificate III or IV in Electrotechnology (Electrician) (essential)
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections and electrical testing to agreed timelines.
Carry out routine checks of critical services and utilities and complete repair tasks as required.
Diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation and control equipment including PLCs, SCADA and industrial networks.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and plant monitoring system alarms; occasional after-hours attendance may be required.
Support equipment introductions, retirements and project work; contribute to small capital projects under supervision.
Deliver facility and equipment continuous improvement, change implementation and corrective action tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work in logbooks, maintenance worksheets and the Maintenance Management System; complete ancillary documentation and investigation reports.
Author and technically review assigned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage spare parts restocking and inventory processes.
Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure maintenance, calibration and validation equipment remain operational.
Participate in professional development and routine training.

What You Must have
Education & Licencing:
Current QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence (Essential to have)
Certificate III or IV in Electrotechnology Electrician (Essential to have)
Certificate III in Instrumentation Control (Preferable)
Technical Skills:
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Experience with preventive and predictive reliability strategies for electrical and control equipment.
Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance or similar CMMS (preferred).
Experience with spare parts management and inventory control within a maintenance system.
Understanding of change management processes for equipment and controls.
High level of computer literacy and competence with MS Office applications.
Adaptable and quick to learn new or changing systems.
Experience:
Prior solid experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation and control roles — manufacturing or food industry experience preferred.
Practical experience with PLCs, SCADA systems and industrial networks.
Exposure to power distribution, protection systems and PV/battery inverter systems is advantageous.
