A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse & logistic specialist. Reporting to the Associate Director Logistic Management, the primary role of the Warehouse & Logistics specialists

Key Team member to the Logistics team providing support for indirect activities that impact the flow of materials both into and through the Site. Working with both Warehouse team as well as other Site stakeholders and above Site teams to ensure systems and procedures effectively manage safety and Quality risks whilst maximising operational effectiveness. These procedures/ systems include change controls, shipping & regulatory controls, training & development, compliance (safety & quality) audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do:

• Leading / supporting Compliance Investigations with both Site and external teams
• Involved in both safety & Quality audits (both internal and external) as a key SME.
• Facilitate agreed Continuous Improvements and Process improvements within the
• Warehouse/Sampling Operations area. This includes agreed Supply Chain & Site Hoshin initiatives/ NPI etc.
• Compliance SME for the department/ technical area for QMS topics, QRAs, change controls etc.
• Support Warehouse team to ensure that the workload is correctly level loaded to maximize
• efficiency in the medium to long term in the area.
• Translate technical knowledge for focus/ SME activity to develop competence in consultation with
• Team for improving way in which activities are performed, alignment with compliance (quality, regulatory, safety) expectations; reflected in the procedures & training competency packages for impacted Team members.
• Own agreed Inventory management activities – cycle counts, discards management, SAP training for team.

In order to excel in this role, you will have:

• Level 7 qualification in a related discipline.

• Three to five plus years’ experience in a GMP/regulated environment.

• Proven record of accomplishments of working in a Pharma/Biopharma company or related industry is desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal skills required, ability to interact professionally with all staff, both up and down the organisation

• Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.

• Good influencing / collaboration skills and teamwork mindset

• Coaching others by sharing your skill set and expertise.

• Experience using ERP systems at a manufacturing site.

• Supply chain material planning experience is desirable.

• Proven ability to using a wide variety of lean tools and building capability in teams you have led that becomes the standard way work gets completed.
