Role Description
The Veeva Platform Architect is accountable for the overall architectural integrity and strategic alignment of the Veeva platform across divisions. The role ensures that Veeva operates as a cohesive enterprise platform rather than a collection of independent vault implementations, balancing speed, compliance, and scalability.
This role operates above individual programs and vaults, owning enterprise-wide architectural coherence and outcomes. It is the single point of accountability for platform-level architectural alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise Veeva platform architecture, principles, standards and guardrails and establish Platform principles, standards, and ways of working
Demonstrated experience establishing and running a Community of Practice (standards adoption, ways of working).
Establish and lead the Veeva Community of Practice across divisions
Drive cross-divisional alignment on platform strategy, ways of working, and priorities
Align platform roadmap and OKRs with enterprise and divisional objectives
Govern the Process Atlas as an enterprise dependency and prioritization mechanism
Enable reuse, standardization, and continuous improvement across vault families
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data / Information Management or a related technical or scientific discipline
Minimum 10 + years of experience in healthcare, biotech, IT, or the technology industry
At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
Master’s degree (MSc, MBA, or equivalent) preferred

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is
$173,200.00 - $272,600.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
