Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking professional to join our Global Technology group. As part of that team, you will contribute to our IT team focused on developing and applying advanced knowledge and content management capabilities in information technologies and help provide innovative solutions to address complex business needs. This position is based in our Hyderabad location, and we follow a hybrid work policy.
What will you do in this role:
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Front‑end Engineering Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Front‑end UI components for all Enterprise Search platform applications
- Implement modern, performant, and accessible user interfaces using JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS
- Establish and evolve front‑end development standards, patterns, and best practices across the Enterprise Search ecosystem
- Collaborate with UX, product, and back‑end teams to ensure consistent and high-quality user experiences
- Contribute to the long-term UI architecture and technical roadmap of the Enterprise Search platform
- DevSecOps & Platform Engineering Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own the DevSecOps stack supporting the Enterprise Search platform
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for front‑end and platform components
- Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring repeatability, security, and scalability
- Embed security and compliance controls directly into build and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps-by-design)
- Support environment provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management through automation
- Enterprise Search & Platform Responsibilities (General)
- Contribute technology expertise to Enterprise Search capabilities across the collaboration ecosystem
- Design and implement Enterprise Search solutions aligned with standards and platforms
- Follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes, including required documentation
- Help define best practices, guidelines, and governance for Enterprise Search solutions
- Identify capability gaps and contribute to future-state architecture and roadmap planning
- Work effectively with global, cross-functional teams across IT and business domains
Education Minimum Requirement:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Front‑end UI Development (Primary Focus)
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and modern Front‑end frameworks, with emphasis on React
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience designing and implementing reusable UI components, design systems, and front‑end architecture patterns
- Familiarity with modern front‑end tooling and development practices (npm/yarn, bundlers, linters, testing frameworks)
- Ability to collaborate closely with UX designers, back‑end engineers, and platform teams to deliver cohesive user experiences
- DevSecOps Engineering (Primary Focus)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable DevSecOps stack for enterprise-grade platforms
- Understanding of security best practices integrated into CI/CD pipelines (code scanning, dependency scanning, secrets management)
- Experience managing environments across development, test, and production using automated pipelines
- General & Platform Skills
- Overall understanding of Enterprise Search technologies and their integration within collaboration ecosystems
- Ability to translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Experience delivering solutions end-to-end, from design through implementation and support
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
What should you have
- Experience with Azure-native services and cloud-based architectures
- Exposure to search platforms such as Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch, SharePoint Search, or similar
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, API security concepts)
- PowerShell or scripting experience for automation tasks
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in global, distributed teams
Desired/Optional Technology Exposure:
- Search engine optimization expertise - content procession, document processing, linguistic features - SP search, Azure Search, Elastic, Coveo framework (any of them)
- Microsoft 365 cloud integration experience - OAuth implementation, GRAPH API, Office 365 REST API, Azure service, Power Platform.
- Relational database concepts used in technologies such as SQL Server
