We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, HCP Pan Scientific Strategy – US Oncology. This position will be responsible for leading key elements of marketing strategy to HCP customers across a portfolio of oncology products at varying stages of commercialization; including the recent launch of our subcutaneous product. This experienced sales and marketing professional will be responsible for the development, refinement, and execution of a US commercial strategy for the HCP pan tumor portion of the US Oncology business.
The position is a Hybrid Role based in Upper Gwynedd, PA or Remote, reporting to a Director, HCP Pan Franchise Strategy – US Oncology.
This position will require outstanding leadership and collaboration in many areas including HCP marketing and strategy development, scientific acumen including medical education, congress planning and launches, forecasting experience, market research, relationship building, budget management and ensuring flawless launch execution from the team. Candidate will require the ability to deliver the business today, while simultaneously planning for future indications, and a proven track record to work successfully under tight and often fluctuating timelines.
Key responsibilities and experiences include and are not limited to the following:
· Experience leading forecasting and launch planning/execution - particularly related to new formulations, administrations, combinations indications and dosing to grow brand equity in coordination with the broader team
· Experience leading strategy development for launch and inline assets including execution across a multi-functional team with direct and indirect influence of key stakeholders
· Responsible for leading pan tumor and cross-franchise medical education (branded and unbranded) and congress (national and regional) experience across customer segments and overall contribution to the US business and KPIs for congress engagement
· Responsible for franchise S&OP across brands for continuous monitoring and overviews for senior leadership
· Responsible for the development, adoption and consistency of the HCP pan franchise current and mid-term strategy to sustain and grow our leadership in the market
· Leadership that includes enterprise thinking and ability to make critical trade-off decisions with the movement of the business and priorities across the Oncology landscape
· Experience with lifecycle scenario planning (including late-stage and product launches) and campaign development
· Partner with multiple stakeholders across the US and global business - including HCP, Science and consumer brand strategy leads, to ensure alignment and find synergies across a multi-product portfolio
· Develop multi-faceted launch plan for in-line and product extensions by identifying insights and gaps and recommend market research to meet strategic goals
· Strong understanding of the oncology competitive landscape with the ability to foresee and predict market trends
· · Requires approximately 20% travel, including some weekends
Education Minimum Requirements:
· Required: BA/BS
Required Experience and Skills:
· A minimum of 8 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
· A minimum of 6 years of HCP Marketing experience – preferably in oncology
· A minimum of 2 years people management experience
· Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
· Experience in leading brand strategy and implementation across multiple indications/brands
Preferred Experience and Skills
· 4+ years of Oncology Marketing experience, ideally with a focus in HCP Strategy and/or Scientific Strategy
· 2+ years field sales or field sales leadership experience
· Product/Indication launch experience – preferably in oncology
· Previous lifecycle management experience – preferably in oncology

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$156,900.00 - $247,000.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
