Brief Description
The Learning & Development Lead is responsible for diagnosing, prioritizing, and delivering enterprise learning and capability-building initiatives that strengthen commercial execution across Sales and Marketing. The role partners closely with Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Medical, and HR to translate business priorities into measurable capability outcomes.
This role is accountable for ensuring learning investments drive observable behavior change and business impact, while embedding Enterprise Leadership Skills (ELS) across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a Learning & Development strategy aligned to commercial and organizational priorities.
Diagnose capability gaps using performance data, learning analytics, and stakeholder input.
Design and deliver blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, digital, on-the-job) addressing sales capability, marketing excellence, and leadership development.
Lead sales capability programs focusing on call quality, objection handling, closing, and customer-focused interactions.
Enable frontline managers as effective coaches through structured coaching frameworks, tools, and inspection mechanisms.
Lead Marketing Programs to enable Marketing Leaders to be skilled across Marketing capabilities with programs such as Marketing Foundations and L3 NEXT
Own and optimize the annual learning calendar, ensuring prioritization and sequencing
Evaluate learning effectiveness and ROI using clear KPIs; continuously improve programs based on data and feedback.
Manage learning vendors, resources, and budget to ensure cost-effective and scalable delivery.
Drive stakeholder alignment, manage change, and ensure sustained adoption of capability initiatives.
Champion a continuous learning culture aligned with our company values and Enterprise Leadership Skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
5–7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Commercial Effectiveness, Sales Enablement, or equivalent capability-building roles.
Proven experience designing and implementing training programs linked to business outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and HR.
Strong analytical skills with experience measuring learning effectiveness and ROI.
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
