The position
The Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role in the Our organization, that drives market and customer intelligence, builds data platform solutions, and translates analytics into actionable commercial and launch strategies for the organization. This role will champion competitive and market trends, lead CRM and BI problem-solving and analysis, and develop financial forecast predictive models. Acting as a vital partner to multiple cross-functional teams, the BI Analyst will ensure alignment of data-driven strategies with commercial and organizational goals. Acting as the local Data & Analytics point of contact, this role will manage complex projects, lead analytics adoption and data literacy development across teams, using the insights of data & analytics from multiple sources in the organization to generate and empower stakeholders with actionable insights, fostering innovation and competitive advantage.
What will you do
Market Intelligence & Product Lifecycle Data Analysis
Analyze market, economic and industrial trends to support strategic decision-making.
Proactively monitor competitive landscapes through multiple sources of data (IQVIA, industry news etc.) to generate actionable and insightful reports for stakeholder teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market readiness for new product/indication launches (including market research), ensuring insights are integrated into go-to-market and launch strategies.
Develop, produce and maintain centralized data platforms that consolidate data for actionable reporting.
Conduct field visits to understand data & analytics implementation and needs across different functions; find opportunities for external customer in-sighting to spark innovative ideas on data use, analysis and research.
Customer & Consumer Insights
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of internal dashboards, and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all data systems and processes.
Lead CRM & dashboard data analysis to advise commercial stakeholders on customer experience and engagement enhancements.
Lead the implementation and champion the use of data analytics tools- BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) for data visualization and report generation.
Collaborate with Campaign Managers, Franchise Leads, and the Communications Manager to Analyze consumer behavior and customer data to derive actionable insights.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in customer experience measurement and analytics.
Commercial Excellence (Sales Force Effectiveness & Omnichannel Effectiveness, Financials)
Collaborate closely with the commercial stakeholders (Oncology Customer Execution Manager, Vaccines Customer & Strategic Account Manager, Franchise Leads etc.) on the effective implementation of Sales Force Effectiveness strategies, including digital tool launch, tool usage, data monitoring & analysis on sales force performance.
Establish continuous feedback loops with commercial stakeholders (Oncology Customer Execution Manager, Vaccines Customer & Strategic Account Manager, Franchise Leads etc.) to refine data analytics processes and ensure that insights remain relevant and impactful.
Identify and define key performance metrics that align with commercial objectives, enabling stakeholders to track progress and optimize strategies effectively.
Analyse the effectiveness of omnichannel strategies, including digital and traditional channels and provide insights to optimise customer engagement across multiple touchpoints.
Participate in forecasting exercises by leveraging historical data and market trends to create accurate predictions and business planning. Develop predictive models to anticipate future business needs and market trends.

Data Architecture & Development Project Management
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of necessary data architectures and platforms that integrate market research, sales, and external data sources.
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality, governance, and security.
Utilize programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to automate data processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and create advanced dashboards.
Lead complex projects related to data platform creation, market research, and strategic insights delivery using agile or other project management frameworks.
Coordinate multiple stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment, timely execution, and delivery of impactful results.
Act as a change agent driving adoption of regional and cluster data initiatives at the local level.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:
Strong knowledge and proficiency of BI tools, platforms and CRM (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI, Figma, QlikView, Veeva) and advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel. Experience using visualisation tools and implementing algorithm in data tools an advantage.
Proven experience working in data analytics or similar role in the pharmaceutical, biotech medical device or FMCG industry.
Broad product, therapy and business area knowledge of Our products and key competitors; as well as a broad industry knowledge.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder management, prior experience in cross-functional project management in matrix organizations.
Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate the commercial landscape of the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on aligning data insights with business strategies.
Strong communication & presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to diverse, non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on strategic initiatives.
Experience working in large matrix, multinational environments. Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
