Job Description
The Position
As Medical Advisor Vaccines & Infectious Disease, you will lead and deliver the local Medical Affairs strategy, partnering closely across the affiliate and with the external medical/scientific community. You will spend up to 50% of your time in external engagements to enable high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange and improved patient care.
- Own the country Medical Affairs strategy and execution, aligned with global priorities.
- Partner with medical societies and the wider stakeholder ecosystem to advance scientific exchange and education.
- Communicate complex medical and scientific information clearly and credibly to support better decisions and outcomes.
What will you do?
- Shape the local Medical Affairs strategy by gathering insights and translating global priorities into fit-for-market plans.
- Drive evidence generation: support IIS and other studies, identify investigators/sites, and enable innovative data-generation projects.
- Provide balanced, compliant scientific information and medical information support, including responses to unsolicited inquiries.
- Act as the medical/scientific partner internally and externally communicating insights clearly, collaborating inclusively, and serving as a trusted medical counterpart to key stakeholders.
- Lead medical education and engagement activities (training, symposia/scientific meetings, advisory boards) and represent the company in relevant forums.
- Provide medical input across compliance/regulatory, safety/quality and market access topics as needed.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD or PharmD).
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
- Solid understanding of the local regulatory/reimbursement environment and clinical research standards.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to connect decisions to broader strategy.
- Proven ability to build networks with scientific leaders and key stakeholders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrix environment.
Nice to have
- 2–3 years of clinical and/or research experience in a relevant therapy area.
- Experience in vaccines/infectious disease.
