Job Description

As a SAP BW / Analytics Lead you will:

• Lead and manage a global SAP BI / Analytics team consisting of BW/HANA specialists and senior subject matter experts

• Act as the primary technical and delivery lead for SAP BW on HANA and Analytics initiatives across regions

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of SAP BI solutions – from demand intake and requirements shaping through design, build, testing, and go‑live

• Facilitate and guide requirements‑gathering workshops with business stakeholders and senior functional partners

• Review, validate, and approve Functional Specifications and technical designs, ensuring optimal balance between standard and custom solutions

• Define and govern SAP BW/HANA architecture, data modelling standards, and development best practices

• Coordinate internal team activities and manage dependencies with external vendors and system integrators

• Oversee testing strategy and execution (SIT/UAT), ensuring quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance

• Ensure effective hypercare, post‑go‑live support, and structured knowledge transfer to support teams

• Drive adherence to company SDLC, lifecycle management, and quality standards across the team

• Provide technical leadership for ECC to S/4HANA remediation and transformation initiatives impacting Analytics

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members, supporting skill growth, career progression, and succession planning

What we need:

• 10+ years experience in SAP BW and HANA–based analytics solutions

• 5–7+ years experience in a technical leadership or lead role

• Proven experience leading SAP BW on HANA or Native HANA implementations

• Strong functional and business process understanding across multiple SAP domains, with a focus on Analytics

• Deep expertise in BW objects, HANA modelling, and architectural governance

• Practical understanding of S/4HANA migration impacts on BW

• Experience working in regulated industries (pharma preferred)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed, multicultural teams

Nice to have:

• SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud (BDC) exposure

• SAP ABAP knowledge (design and review level)

• Experience with SAP BOBJ (Web Intelligence) or SAP Analytics Cloud

• Experience working with global system integrators
